RIHANNA's Latest Music Video: S&M Premiere and REVIEW

All I can say is... WOW. Words just don't do it enough justice. Check out Rihanna in her latest video premiere of "S&M" (that aired on YouTube and slow, slow, slow VEVO) coming from her LOUD album which was released November 2010. This is THE VIDEO that has been banned from 11 countries... and counting.

If you just listen to the song, it sounds nasty, NAAAAASSSS....T. Even the title alone can make someone blush or cringe. But the music video tells a whole different story. The music video, as you can see, is based off Rihanna's life with the media surrounding her. The media in the S&M video represent those that taunt her and criticize her very being.They were wearing gags while trying to talk to Rihanna, but she was OBVIOUSLY the one in control. WOW, talk about tellin' it like it is in a very ANIMATED manner.

Rihanna has at least 5 different looks in which she sings that she doesn't care about what's going on around her, nothing can hurt her (Sticks and stones may break my bones, but chains and whips excite me).  Rihanna stands in a white room with words scrolling all around her:

"ILLUMINATI. DISAPPOINTING. BARBADOS. FIVE-HEAD. CRAZY. RONALD McDONALD HAIR."

So many more words that I couldn't catch were flying all around her. This represents the "smothering" thoughts going on in her head and the apparent rumors of her plastered on newspapers INTERNATIONALLY. Can you imagine the negatives of your life, your dirty laundry (we shouldn't have them, but many of us do anyway), published to a potential 50 million readers by print and internet?? But again, she tells it like it is, GOES INNNN in this music video.

You wanna know what I think? I don't go into the music part, just the VISUAL ASPECTS of the video. Out of all of the music videos Rihanna have made (I've watched them all, she's my guilty pleasure *lol*), this is her LOUDEST, CRAZIEST, MOST CONTROVERSIAL and believe it or not... MOST THOUGHT-PROVOKING and DEEPEST UNDERLYING MEANING video YET.

I can clearly understand that the botttom line to this otherwise extraordinarily EYE-POPPING video is that people will always talk about you regardless of whether you're doing good or bad. It's entirely up to you to ride it out and not let accusations (especially the false ones we all hate) keep us from reaching for the sky. So... we have to think before we blatantly judge someone. Are we perfect enough to do so???

One last thing... ooh Rihanna girl... *covers eyes, then peekaboo*



RIHANNA Recently Releases "S&M" Single Cover... Umm...

RIHANNA is indeed my guilty pleasure. No matter what people may say about her...ahh it's whatever. So she released her S&M cover above, and while I'm looking at it, I hope the photo shoot she had for all those pictures for the 'LOUD' album was dirt cheap; Love RiRi but this is a $5 picure taken from a shaky camera phone.

Ronald Fenty Talks About His Daughter RIHANNA Selling Hats As a Kid

Do some of you know that feeling that when you're trying to move on and be peaceful, and love everybody, including your parents, somebody will pop up from the past and try to get back in your life? I know this situation all too well.

I don't know how my girl RIHANNA's relationship is with her father but I do know that it's less than ideal and more on a civil manner. So Ronald Fenty was talking to THE SUN tabloid about his daughter's past trying to sell hats and other clothes (he currently sells clothes out of his car too). See the brief interview:

  

On Rihanna’s singing ability
The first time I heard her sing she was three years old, lying on her bed with a hairbrush for a microphone. Then, when she was seven, I heard her singing with our neighbor and I was amazed. She was doing the Aladdin song A Whole New World – it was so pretty I couldn’t believe it. I made sure she went to school and did well. She liked to dance and had natural rhythm but she wasn’t doing all the school productions and stuff. So her success came a bit out of the blue. She was the youngest girl to take part in a talent pageant at her high school. All the other girls were 17, but she won. Shortly afterwards she was discovered and the rest is history.

How Rihanna would make money as a kid
She used to sell stuff on the side of the street like I did. She’d come outside of the store and put up a rack and sell hats and belts and scarves. She would also buy sweets, put them in packages and take them to school to sell to her friends for a profit.

Rihanna is the total package
Robyn has special charisma. She’s charming, smart and witty – she’s a complete package. They didn’t have to do anything to her. She didn’t have to get no fake boobs or nothing

On Chris Brown
It was really tough seeing the pictures of her beaten up. But I have forgiven him. He has lost so much from one stupid mistake. So me making him feel even worse makes no sense. I feel sorry for him now.

On his drug addiction
I did have a drug problem and Robyn did walk in and see me taking drugs in our house. She was just a little kid and it made her look at me, and other things, differently. Around the same time we were walking down the street with the kids and there was a guy sleeping on the sidewalk. Her mother said to Robyn, ‘Your dad is going to end up like that. I did not want my children to see me sleeping on the sidewalk so I started making the changes. I had to give up drugs for my family. I still kind of lost them, I split up with my wife. But I still had to do it for myself and eventually I beat it.

So whaddaya think about that?? I think it's nice of him to talk fondly of his daughter, but at the same time... SMH.

RIHANNA Goes For Another Red-Hair Look

Rihanna was spotted coming out of Wolfgang Puck in Beverly Hills, CA looking casual in her favorite leggings and boots (she wears this look often when she's just chillin'), and she was rockin' yet another cut. It seems that the color is a more toned-down red with darker ends. Those bangs look great on her; after all, she switches it up all the time and looks good doing it..

RIHANNA New Perfume 'Reb'l Fleur' On Shelves Early!! Ladies, Heads Up!!

Ladies, RIHANNA, the nine #1 hits Barbadian artist with hott songs like "What's My Name," "Rude Boy," and "Only Girl In The World" brings to you her new perfume that is said to be a different, sort of groundbreaking scent that aims to take women to "happier times."

FYI: Reb'l Fleur means "Rebellious Flower" and the name was also a tattoo on Rihanna's neck a few months ago. Would you buy??

Rihanna has been doing a lot and looks so sensual and sensational (well to me 'cuz I like her).

DRAKE And RIHANNA Together?? Fashionista & Swooner Unite...

So whaddaya think about RIHANNA and DRAKE hooking up? I know it's not really my business and my business on this blog is fashion, but this could possibly mean big things for the sexy fashionista and the lady swooner. Matt Kemp... well.... he's his own person but he might be a little out of his league for Rihanna--just a thought.

But in this picture swings Drake next to Rihanna's side. "Rihanna and Drake" or "Drake and Rihanna" has really captivated the media world ever since Rihanna's release of 2010 song "What's My Name?" The music video really gave people a glimpse into "what could be" of Rihanna and Drake. See the video and keep onnnnnn reading.....

Rapper TRINA is apparently following in Rihanna's footsteps--well she usually does-- but it doesn't look bad on her at all. Are there any ladies going RED, all shades of red, for 2011? I know my hair won't be red---duh-- but it'll sure be crazy, crazy , CWWWAZZZY!!!

If she ever wanted to leave the music world, she could easily be recognized as a supermodel. REALLY. She, dressed this way, would also command all of your attention if she was sitting at your table for Thanksgiving *lol*.
