The Definition of DOPE: Android Homme Limited Edition Sneakers

Wow, these shoes are really, really nice. They kinda look like the "low-top' version of the Ferragamo sneakers I was looking at in Neiman Marcus (in Somerset Collection, Troy MI). But my title was just right, I know it is-- the Android Homme Propulsion 2 sneakers that are limited to 40 pairs. JUST 40?? REALLY?? I'm sure there's at least 100 people just on my side of town who want these.

These are not extraordinarily expensive; it's reasonably priced at $280.

Dope, I tell you. DOPE.

USHER On "Chill Mode" in Peacoat and LANVIN Sneakers (But what's With The Hair?)

Good morning, or... GOOD MIDNITE to you. I just want to do a fly-by on Usher's style. Usher has sported a lot of futuristic looks in regards to his OMG tour. And while he's off-duty, he usually looks dapper or just plain ILL (nice-looking clothes) in recent months... many, many months ago.

Sidebar: Check out "OMG" Usher in the LANVIN sneakers. Celebs made the LANVINs popular, now everybody gotta have 'em. But Usher's are a little dingy. Buff them thangs, boy!!!

But in these last couple months, I've been a little concerned about Usher's style... he seems to be slipping a lil' bit. It's all showing in the "tough-looking" hair and scruffy beard (Sorry, my man [Usher]). I know there's many women who like the whole rugged look, but I'm very certain a line has to be drawn. Somewhere, SOMETHING has to be groomed on the face. If not the beard, then the hair, and vice-versa. If none is groomed, it's just messy. REALLY. 

In Usher's case, his whole look is... a mix of MEDIOCRE and COOL.

JAIDEN's 'Sneaker of the Day': Nike AirTrainer Volt

Here's what caught my eyes today, like a shock-k-kkk-kkk. After all, these sneakers are called the Nike AirTrainer Volt. This is a versatile sneaker that can be rocked at the gym (be in style when working out), at school (learn in style and comfort), and when you're just chillin'.

The brightness of the sneaker REQUIRES that it not be covered up with baggy jeans. For sneakers which have a look like this (brightness, texture, classic appeal), the jeans are to be regular fitted jeans (but not SKINNY.... please don't do that.) that come down to just above the middle of the sneaker.

Here's my SNEAKER OF THE DAY: The Nike Air Max Light with very light pastel colors (Light Wolf Grey). This is a different approach to Air Max that usually come in either bold, eye-catching colors or deep, dark colors. A nice switch-up, from what I'm looking at...

These revised 2011 Louis Vuitton Acapulco sneakers got mixed reviews; some people said 'yea' and some people said 'nay'. But for me, EVERYTHING that I picked, whether a collection may be good or bad, I always pick out the best of it. You'll like it. TRUST ME. Oh nah, nah, What's my name? JAIDEN.

DIEMME "Hiking Sneakers" for Spring 2011; What a HYBRID

Do you like 'em??

These are Diemme hiking sneakers made for fashion....but definitely made for hiking or the rugged outdoors, as well. Many shoe companies are putting ork in on producing hybrids, that is, blending design made normally for rugged landscapes with fr-fr-frresh designs seen on sneakerheads who wear hott sneakers. I think these could sell pretty well. I like 'em with a nice pair of my favorite denim jeans.

MONCLER Biarritz Sneakers

The brand MONCLER is known for quality, urban outerwear against cold weather. Now, these shoes that I found are plenty ILL; these are MONCLER Biarritz sneakers and it's looks like it can be used all year round.

The brown tobacco leather looks smooth and buttery soft and can be yours for $383.

Wow! The LOUDEST Adidas Hightops I've Ever Seen!

I visited Highsnobiety and came across the loudest--to me-- Adidas sneaker to date. It's called the M ATTITUDE LOGO. It's a bold, catch-your-attention kind of sneaker. The whole design accompanied with the strange colorway would make this sneaker a "hate it-love it" relationship.

These are one of those shoes where you can tell your own story...

Adidas x Jeremy Scott "Panda" Sneakers for Fall 2011

I'm opening up a new segment called "Sneaker Fetish Thursdays." This is the Thursday where I make posts almost all day about SNEAKERS, SNEAKERS, SNEAKERS. well, not all sneakers; ILL boots ad shoes that fit my list of hott picks will go onto one of the posts as well.

Check out the first shoes I posted from Highsnobiety. These are Adidas x Jeremy Scott "Panda" sneakers for Fall 2011. Jeremy Scott is known for the crazy, never-thought-of ideas for clothing. So... they let the "panda" out of the bag pretty early LoL. I just had to say that... You like it? I wouldn't wear it everyday or even in public (of sorts) but I definitely could rock this out in a photo shoot.



CHRIS BROWN In His Latest Webisode; Talks Nothin' but Style.

I was flipping through UpscaleHype when I came across Chris Brown and his latest webisode which included Swizz Beatz, Big Sean, and Tyga... and they talked nothing but style. They had plenty of swagger in it, too. Chris Brown was featured wearing a Burberry tumbled leather double-breasted biker jacket for $2,795. He also wore a 10 Deep "Gun Club" camo shirt, some sah-weeet red Converses, and a studded MCM Backpack.

The PLAINEST-LOOKING Jordans I've Ever Seen...

Michael Jordan has a huge following on his JORDAN BRAND/Jumpman sneakers, releasing new sneakers every year. They are full of style with swoops, curves, zig-zags, velcros, smooth-to-the-touch, yada-yada.

But then I come to this. These shoes are called "6-17-23" and is supposed to be a hybrid sneaker reminiscent of designs from the JORDAN VI and XVII (btw '6-17-23' means Jordan's titles, years in the NBA, and number). 

I don't know if you like these... but I'm not really feeling these sneakers; however I like the other ones that were recently released (I will update you with a link). I do know that the price of Jordans, especially this model, will be pretty lofty, so I expect more style and emphasis to be added to it.

The bottom of the sneaker isn't bad; However, I would've like to see this design displayed right-side up on the shoes instead of hidden on the bottom.

I APPROVE: 3.1 Phillip Lim Shoes (Wear Your Own Unique Swagger)

I like shoes that bring a unique swagger. These shoes by 3.1 Phillip Lim are definitely unique and slightly odd, but not too odd to the point where they look hideous; you can still rock 'em with a good pair of jeans. See which ones I like:

Yeah I like these baby-blue Espadrilles!! It takes skill to know how to work 'em. Suggestion: Wear with dark denim jeans and baby-blue cashmere sweater or sweater vest and
contrasting polo shirt.

What I DON'T like:

These sneakers-- you know 3.1 Phillip Lim isn't cheap; I could find shoes like these
for a deep fraction of the cost.

'Showin' Off The Shoes' by Kdia

Don't any of you do that sometimes, take pictures of your brand new shoes, then post them on Facebook or Twitter? Well that's what Kdia (still trying to figure out what it is she does but I hear that she's in music and she's a CHANEL FREAK) posted of her NEVER-WORN Louis Vuitton boat shoes that came out a few seasons ago and it was created by a collaboration with Kanye West. The New AIR JORDAN 2011!

Just doing a fly-by on this one. This is ILL, y'all. I don't know whether to rock these or the AIR JORDAN COOL GREYS. But just for the heck of it, I would go with these new 2011s. With a baby bluish clear sole, perforated design surrounding the shoes, this allows for premium ventilation without allowing water to get inside (the grey material of the shoe is known to be "extra" waterproof).

U-G-L-Y: Some of CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN Spring 2011 Men's Shoes

Christian Louboutin is indeed a HIT for women around the world, and even a joy when one can afford to buy a pair.... OR TWO... OR TEN. Whoo... TEN? That's like $7,000 worth of shoes. Anyway, the heels that Louboutin has created for women are so sensational and sexy...maaaan.

NOW men can share in on the fun. The men's collection from Louboutin has swagged out men's feet with uniqueness...and astronomical price (like SWIZZ BEAT's $10,000 version) for a few seasons, and now the line is releasing their Spring 2011 collection. The trend is obviously that spiked look that many of you have been seeing from rockstars or people wanting to be rockstars.

Most of the shoes that have been released from the men's line is *Drumroll*..... No bueno.

The picture at the top is ABSOLUTELY NO BUENO.

Let me show you the ones I don't like, and the ones that I do like. It will be "No bueno" for "Not Good" and "Bueno" for "Good."

NIKE Women's Dunk High 'AMOR' Sneakers Are In time for Valentine's Day; These sneakers= LOVE!

These sneakers are indeed right on time. I KNOW that this is a Nike project that many ladies will love. It's like that vivid reminder when doodling on the back of a notebook was the entertainment during grade school, and now Nike revives the memories with the design 'AMOR' accompanied by the doodling on the shoes. I think it's hott and I look forward to a lovely and cool lady putting these on...

I'm so excited about these men's sneakers. To some, they may seem plain or whatever, but it takes a good fashion eye to see the art and overall essence behind it. Look closely and observe; see what road LANVIN leads you down :-) .

GOURMET Releases Their Quadici Duck Boots and Uno Canvas Sneakers

These are some FRESH boots from GOURMET and its full name is "Quadici Duck Boots". The others (below) is "Uno Canvas Sneakers." So the first is basically a duck boot set on top of sneaker bottoms as you can CLEARLY see. The canvas sneakers are nice, too. I like the black duck boots best, but not the leopard. The leopard is really becoming a trend. I could see it being a nice look on women, but this is a men's design so for a man to wear it....uhhh.....

The "hybrid" design of the shoes is ILL--- I'm not feeling that leopard colorway, though. *Shrug*
